Just to put some context to this: In 2013 ICE under Obama deported 368k illegal aliens. Approx 64% of these deportations were from the border. 133k were from the "interior of the U.S."

Now, that was during a time when the courts and local law enforcement had a working relationship with ICE and the administration.

all when it comes to interior illegal aliens:

82 percent of all interior removals had been previously convicted of a crime.

that means of the 133k, 110k were criminals. Which is pretty fucking easy when LEO and courts just hand them over like they should be doing. Or at least the criminals were given deportation orders instead of protective orders hamstringing ICE.

Just to tie it up in a nice bow, 345 thousand of the 368 thousand were from border arrest and criminals. Leaving 23 thousand in the just illegals being deported for being illegals in 2013.

We have (or at least been told) there are less border crossings, and ICE have to fight for each arrest and I'm not gonna link but reports of local departments releasing illegals instead of handing them over so each fucking arrest is a scramble in the parking lot.

Times have changed, we really can't compare the numbers using the same metrics.
