Highly recommend, is out on switch and switch 2 currently. Graphics are very anime styled and work great for a japanese folklore styled game. Gameplay is similar to other RF games, but has a lot more village management and there’s a skill tree system now. Combat is almost BOTW at least so far, is very sword and bow heavy but I haven’t unlocked more than the first two bosses currently.

I think you can romance either sex, but haven’t come across any “gay”. There’s no script making any gay references I’ve seen. The only sexual references I’ve seen was for the spring goddess having big tits and called buxom a lot.
Based on the "social activities" skill tree, you can apparently kiss a potential romantic partner. Probably only once you get "close" enough. With this kind of game, there probably won't be much suggestive language anyways.
