If it turns out to be a disaster, it will ultimately be one of Trump's own making. A lot of us were suspicious of Elon, and then there was the H1B shitshow.

He can still salvage it by reversing the H1Bs and the Palantir Cybrpunk dystopian nightmare and blaming those on Elon. He can release substantive info on Epstein instead of playing his base with plan trusting bullshit. Navigating the BBB is a trickier matter though. That has problems beyond Elon.

Trump has to want to do these things though. Does he? We'll find out.
