I admit I'm totally clueless as to what's in it because my instinct is that Elon is right and its full of garbage but who knows. There are a few right- wing people on X attacking Elon over it, but it could just be from not liking the guy or just generic GOP bootlicking. Thoughts?

Trump is trying to grow the economy out of the debt bomb we're in, while preserving a political coalition.
If he cuts the budget to where it needs to be, he'll cause a deflationary crisis and he'll basically blow up the entire global economy, and probably kill millions of people from the resulting international destabilization.
Instead, he's going to still spend, but lower the deficit over time. Could it work? Maybe, but we're going to have to see.
Most of the bickering is silly though.
