I haven't looked much into Switch 2. Is it like the last version of the 3DS they put out; a newer, better version of the Switch with more memory and better performance with which you can still play all your Switch games, or is it actually a new console that will have a whole new library, that's incompatible with the previous one?
It's basically the Wii U to the Wii. Improved hardware and new games being released for it specifically, but also backwards compatible with Switch 1 games and software, with a handful of exceptions.
Alright, then. Chances are that I won't purchase it. I'm a bit interested in the upcoming Donkey Kong game, because I loved DK64 as a kid and it never got a proper sequel, but that game alone isn't enough for me to spend several hundreds of dollars. Not to mention the time sink.
