No that's because the goddamn democrats decided that high fructose corn syrup should be in everything from the bread to the gasoline.
Obesity in the United States is an externally induced problem. People in the fifties smoked like chimneys, ate like crap, didn't exercise for shit and lived to their nineties.
Because they weren't being deliberately poisoned with over processed chemicals.
And as with most metrics, things change if you split off blacks. Particularly black women. Especially in the 'severe obesity' category. Asians living in the US are doing fine.
Which just prove my point that the problem is the portion sizes that people eat.
In 2017-2018, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) reported that non-Hispanic Black adults had the highest obesity prevalence at 49.6%, followed by Hispanic adults at 44.8%, non-Hispanic White adults at 42.2%, and non-Hispanic Asian adults at 17.4%
Why do Asian Americans have much lower rates of obesity than everyone else despite living in the same country.? like i said it seems to be the big portion sizes that people eat.
It's also why we are about a foot taller than they are.
tall and also super wide.Maybe Americans should try to be tall and thin instead.
