I don't see how #4 works in this situation.
Raising the minimum wage & having more "workers rights" leads to:

high prices & inflation
thus less 'spending power' for the lower (minimum) wage earners
fewer jobs available
increased illegal employment

5 Innovation is hard when there's a civil war / invasion underway, eh? 😢
