It's something I've noticed for years, by this point.

Point out how unsuccessful you are sexually(or even just relationship-wise), and people will stumble over broken glass trying to find some excuse or fault to explain it away.

They never want to point out that getting a relationship is one part luck, another part skill, and that society as a whole has done it's best to take both of those elements out of the equation by destroying everything that could help the median average find a relationship and a good life.
