He's done more than I thought he could do. Putin and Zelensky still don't seem to know how to untangle themselves from the mess their in, but the ambassadors seem to be working on it (despite Zelensky's best efforts); and Israel doesn't have an automatic defender in Trump, and Hamas has seemed to be willing to make outreach to peace negotiations, and the rest of the Arab world is starting to come to Trump's side. He seems to be properly re-orienting diplomatic relations in the middle east.
He's completely re-working international trade to the benefit of the US at this very moment. It reminds me a lot of what he had managed to accomplish by 2019 with tons of off-shoring from China into surrounding countries. The consequences will take another 6 months to a year to see, but it looks good so far.

Trump was never going to bring prices down because I want to bring prices down because that would be deflation. He'd have 5 more assassination attempts on him if he actually lowered prices. Instead he just brought the rate of inflation down very well. We have had major growth in jobs and in wages on the last jobs report. I see no evidence of stagflation or depression.
The real economy is still not good, but that's because of all the damage done to it under Biden and even under Obama. The summer should be a bit more prosperous.
