I seem to recall some vague references to it in one older war movie from the 50's or 60's.
It's an unfortunate but extremely common problem, going back as far as warfare's been a thing. An occupying military force inevitably does lead to a lot of this. It's not right, and sometimes those in command try to prevent while other times not, but it's still going to be a problem. Just a reality of the situation.
And it's not something that'll get a lot of attention unless the war was very unpopular with those at home. IE Vietnam.
its not just "not getting a lot of attention" its almost impossible to find info on it and things i do find most of the time on this topic are articles trying to deny that it happened or saying that the claims were "exaggerated" Some even try to say "the historians were wrong"(oh so NOW the historians are not to be believed?). Apparently they can do this but holocaust denial is illegal in many countries.
