AI can be really useful when writing. Can't remember a character's name or hair color? AI will find it for you, and add it to your characters file. Need some help with the story or style? Ask how various authors would do it, or even how those character would respond.
As a tool, it's great. As a plagiarizer, it gets old fast.
It's also good to clean up something you've written like an email you're sending way above your pay grade.
