In general, yes, you're correct about high trust and diversity, but there's a more acute point about trust: covid. Everyone was more or less willing to go along to get along, but when two weeks turned into six months, unease and discontent was expressed by one portion of the population and these people specifically, reddit and/or female, slammed the gas pedal to the floor instead of letting up to see what the issue was.
Trust was crumbling before covid. But they took it out back and blew its brains out and now they wonder why it doesn't come around anymore.
