Don't try applying logic to a regime. We have left-wing parties who openly call for toppling the system, shooting the rich, brag about vandalizing pubs and restaurants who dare to host the AfD and black-clad, masked paramilitaries who attack the opposition. But that's all "their democracy"(TM).
