Back when the patriot act was passed, leftists (including me) were outraged. When the left wanted "hate speech laws" my friends tried to convince me that we need it and how "online hate" is just like physically assaulting someone - clearly never been in a fight.

Now we're back at "protect kids" but I've heard nothing from them. Makes me think that maybe, after all this years, they're starting to see a bit of their hypocrisy.
