Look, I'm not without sympathy, either. It sucks all these gays were raped as kids, and feel the compulsion to continue the cycle. That's legitimately terrible. Doesn't make them less pedophiliac though.
Honestly, if "praying the gay away" actually worked it would 100% unironically be the best thing for them. They can pray for God's grace to resist their demoniac urges to prey on little boys and bring more unnecessary pain into the world, but beyond that, little you can do short of ECS, chemical lobotomy/castration or just plain rope.
Or just admit they have a problem and get therapy to deal with it. But apparently when people choose to get therapy for unwanted sexual attractions that's coercive pseudoscientific conversion therapy which somehow implies electric shocks.
