Trump has been telling Israel "nah, that's no good for us" since his first term on a few things. He will always lean to their side, but the fact that he doesn't 110% capitulate to them on every single thing immediately is ironically better than most other politicians.

Sure, its still 90% giving them what they want, but on the relative scale its improvement. He is also just loud about it (like everything he does) instead of the silent, backroom dealings the rest prefer.

Its saying a lot how spoiled they are that the smallest amount of "can you give us a better deal here" is enough for so many of them to completely turn on him.
