I think Jeremy is a good guy, and seems like a good friend to his people...but holy fuck can I not stand his content. (Also the current coffee shilling is absolutely cringe and pathetic.) I don't hate him as an individual but, dang, that content...

It's some of the worst clickbait out there. Similar to a lot of Tim Pool's stuff, he puts out so much stuff, and so over-sensationalizes it, that it becomes meaningless. You can't tell what one of his video's is going to be about, other than that it will be a vastly exaggerated version of the title/thumbnail, or an outright contradiction/debunking of the title/thumbnail because he thinks it will get clicks to phrase it as the inverse.

I admit I've watched more of his stuff recently, because he's one of the people covering a lot of this current drama, and it's just reinforced my impression. I'm glad he's waking up to this, but it doesn't change the issue that a lot of his content is pointless drivel. He does thumbnails and titles that vastly hype up or even completely misrepresent the issue, and then the actual video is him saying in fifteen minutes what could have been said in two or three. I get that's the YouTube grift, but at least make those fifteen minutes interesting. Whenever I try to watch his stuff I just feel like I've wasted my time, or had it stolen from me.
