Most normie conservatives try to claim the nazis were leftists. i dont know what planet you live in if you think most Western conservatives say "Hitler was right wing"
Though i do agree that right and left have become meaningless terms and the real war is between nationalism and globalism
i think people more often than not lately just make up whatever qualities they want in a classical political alignment chart
i myself am guilty of this. i have to explain every time in person when i make this argument -- i view "Left" - "Right" as a not a 4-way chart, but a sliding scale from
Left Side: [Authoritarian 100]/[Liberty 0] to Right Side: [Authoritarian 0]/[Liberty 100]
in short lol. yeah, the Left/Right label is becoming more meaningless. Discourse and language is going to change over time and the meanings of Left/Right will change. Much like how the mainstream has co-opted and largely de-weaponised "Woke" (at least in Australia)
