This has been a culture shock to me. When I was growing up (not even in the projects) it was acceptable for neighbors and random strangers at the grocery store to help discipline unruly children. If we told our parents "Some guy yelled at me" they would ask "well what did you do to deserve that?" It's wild to me that pretty much everyone is in agreement now that you can't yell at a misbehaving kid. Like that's the one thing Whites are agreeing with Blacks on "yeah I admit she shouldn't have yelled at the brat". I saw Count Dankula the other day saying "I know I know my kid has autism and he can be a pest sometimes. But if he causes you problems, YOU TALK TO ME, DONT EVER SCREAM AT MY CHILD OR WE'RE GOING TO HAVE WORDS." What the hell?
Until we got older and retards started pulling weapons for little to no reason my dad allowed us to just fight people who tried to fight us or steal anything etc. I mean like reasonable fighting not I'm going to murder you by stomping on you because that's just how you handled business in a small country town.
Society has gotten soft. Disproportionate violence is more acceptable while hurt feelings have been elevated to the extreme. It's more acceptable to murder someone than to day anything that might upset them
