The word Socialist in it kinda fucks with the idea of Nazis being super, always right wingers that they need to be in the simplified media narratives. I'm sure that's why it lost popularity.

Heck, I'd bet most of the West wouldn't even connect the dots to Nazis if you said that, and think you were describing a legitimate Far Left political group.
