Chris Rock used to go on stage and openly talk about what a nigger was and how it was a specific type of black person that nobody liked. It was such a universally loved show that multiple younger black men cited it themselves decades later.

So of course once too many whites started agreeing with him, Rock disavowed it all and pretended everyone was just racist and evil.
