While I comprehend WHY anyone on this site, forced to the margin of discourse as we are, would be aggrieved by that position at first pass, I think you're reading a bit much into it. He's angry at the twitterati, much as we are.
stupid tradcuck takes
Okay, but that's hardly new. His viewpoint was always rooted in the old world of the 20th century consensus.

"This goes against everything you stand for, but you're reading too much into it, bud."
He's angry at the twitterati, much as we are.
Not sure what exactly the "Twitterati" is, but whoever they are is afforded to the same free and anonymous speech as we are. Anyone who would say otherwise, or defend other people who are campaigning for the alternative, do not actually believe in free speech.
"He's angry," is not an excuse, if he's railing against everything we've always defended.
"This goes against everything you stand for, but you're reading too much into it, bud."
Anonymity is a means, not a end.
If god descended from on high and offered to strike down the SJWs and cultural marxists and regular marxists, to leave their ideology and all their works in ruins never to rise again, and the price was the loss of anonymity...
This has to be the most godawful take I've ever seen in my life.
Unironically taking the trade freedom for security and getting neither deal.
Not to mention it being completely nonsensical to behin with. "I'd trade being fucked in the ass for all eternity in exchange for not getting fucked in the ass anymore"
Surveillance is fundamentally evil. To be observed by someone who you cannot in return see is at the core of capital H humiliation. Fuck that's the entire center of Kings "having you in their eye" while yours are downcast.
Where once men debased themselves before kings, for kings claimed it to be the demand of god.
Now it is seen as quaint and barbaric. For now we debase ourselves before kings because it is good for us.
It is an affront to humanity that a man may see a man who does not see him. It is an act of innate aggression.
Your postion here is revolting, and I mean that without hyperbole, it turns my stomach.

I'd make that deal.
A) that's not being offered
B) that makes no sense
C) anonymity is most definitely a fundamental right, as demonstrated by the secret ballot

^^ That's you
If you think you need anonymity to be free then the question should be asked what you're trying to do with freedom.
In my experience, 99% of the time that freedom is being used to preach for someone else's death.
