I mean it wouldn't surprise me, that country is already a hardcore PvP zone where EVERYTHING wants to fuck with you.
I mean I recently learned there's a plant that has hypodermic like needles on it's leaves that can embed themselves under the skin and any disturbance will release a toxic that provides the worst pain imaginable that you'll want to kill yourself and they last for years.
They could solve the migrant crisis there by just flooding the cities with the native wildlife..
That sounded like stinging nettles, except the pain is usually just regular level and it clears in an hour or so as long as you weren't rolling around in them naked.
I thought this might be the new "drop bear" but it turns out they really do have a supercharged version down under. And it's called the gympie-gympie, which is extra funny when I imagine it's called that because that's how people walk after one brushes their legs.

Also heard they recently found a larger version of the funnel web spider. Why is this news? The normal one is HIGHLY venomous and has fangs that are big enough to punch through shoe leather..
