If someone is saying a lot of words that are landing in your mind, and trying to make themselves, their face and their name super important to those words then yes.
Most of the "right wing" influencers were in fact grifters, who saw a gap in the market and jumped on it. They could have been Left Wing podcaster #21039810784321 or be one of like 10 Right Wing ones.
Even the ones who started out organically probably saw the huge bump when they started saying "based" things as all the Right wing boys without fathers rushed to look up to and venerate them. This means creating an image for profit that isn't exactly in line with your true self. The Petersons and Rekeitas of the world are in this group.
The solution is to stop worshiping people. Take the wisdom they say, use it to better yourself and others, and fuck who said it first.
