even if your goal was to undermine the west, you'd want people to actually watch your propaganda. the problem is these people are so dedicated to pushing their message, they let the story take the backburner, and the product suffers as a result.
I can think of heavily propagandistic movies (the OG Robocop, starship troopers, Black Panther, etc) that still told an entertaining story, because they focused on the story and the performance above the agenda. Hell, i can remember even conpro cheering the movie going "that's what we want for white people!" (paraphrased).
ppropaganda doesn't work if the target of that propaganda doesn't show up.
