Maybe this is Billie Eilish's fault since she's dressing like a 90s rapper now. But more broadly this is the effects of social contagions running across IG. Who starts those? Gay fashion influencers most likely... the same people who gave us Zendaya as the modern Venus.

So part of the shitty dress standard is to discourage men from talking to her and giving her 'the ick'; and part of it is to signal to other women (and fags) what social group she is a member of.
