And yet we have right here the government/media showing how quickly and easily they can reverse that setup entirely on a whim if they do their job, and it only happens if it fits a useful narrative.
The ones I knew definitely spun it as being a Right Wing Extremist because he registered as a Republican, completely discounting the possibility that someone might do that specifically to vote in the primary in order to sabotage the party's choice in candidate for the general election.
