It is true that women would not have power if men didn't allow it. Goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden when Eve convinced Adam to eat the apple too.
Problem with that example is she still ate it first. Mankind was already doomed by her actions before he was even brought into the equation.
God could've made a new helper. Adam didn't have to start the human race with Eve.
He could have also just not made the tree at that point too if we are getting into full "rules lawyer and pure logic" territory. Heck he could have smote her where she stood the moment she did it to protect him from the temptation. But God let it happen for a reason.
I don't know about lawyering, but God let Adam choose. He just didn't choose well
Adam was compelled by pride.
I'm like, Adam, bro, you had more ribs!
Or love. His existence was as pure as could be, devoid of such stains. He loved this beautiful creature with everything he was, unburdened by fear and sin.
And that love compelled him to take the fall with her rather than be apart from her.
