Man for a moment there I thought it meant we wuz kangz. Kang I'm assuming is a Chinese super hero.
His name is the comics is actually Nathaniel Richards, he's a far future descendant of Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic from the Fantastic Four.
The MCU being their usual brand of retards raceswapped him in the Loki series which came back to bite them HARD since the character was being set up as the next phase Thanos big bad. So when the actor was later fired due to being convicted of assaulting a woman the entire plan just collapsed because Marvel couldn't help but raceswap yet another originally white male. So now the emergency pull has swapped out Kang for Doctor Doom hence the Doomsday movie replacing this one in the pic.
Doesn't this carry about a thousand asterisks for various retcons, alternate timelines, and fakeouts? Kang is like if there was a personified parody of complicated comic lore, except he's a serious character.
I think Nathaniel is one of the more recent retcons and earlier versions suggested he might have been descended from Doom, but you're not wrong about all the "it was a Doombot all along" twists whenever the character was killed or otherwise defeated. Time travel in general means for paradoxes like that where a character can die before they first meet the people who end up being part of his death when the timelines involved don't run parallel all the time.
Kang's a villain, who was played by a black guy (which was a race swap), who got memory-holed after being convicted of assault.
"The Kang Dynasty" film got shitcanned and replaced with "Doomsday."
I believe he’s some sort of multi dimensional dude.
