Which returns us back to the literal plot of Jurassic World.

The plot of Jurassic World is directly stated that they stopped creating things accurately as they could to science to instead create specifically the super predators and beef them up for spectacle's sake in their zoos.

Its exactly why the entire plot of the movie happens, they eventually create one too big to control and contain.

Which is the exact thing I am afraid of them doing in this case. Its one thing to bring rhinos back, its another to bring back megafauna even if the megafauna will absolutely bring in 1000x the funding.

Jurassic Park is far more grounded than that kind of lofty "playing god" type of fuck up, as it only goes wrong when a retarded fat man sabotages everything at the worst moment.

that's just the thing, they never created dinosaurs accurately. I'm showing my nerdiness here, but everything was already going wrong. John Hammond, in spite of "sparing no expense" had apparently cheaped out when paying Dennis Nedry, leaving him disgruntled enough to be open to corporate espionage, but Nedry's betrayal was the straw that broke the camel's back rather than what set the initial films events in motion.

Speaking of accuracy, Dr. Henry Wu(full disclosure, I had to look up the name), the head geneticist, had substituted frog DNA for missing parts of the dinosaur DNA, leading to some of the dinosaurs changing sex and breeding out of control. Honestly, the scene where they were talking about all the changes Wu made to the 'indominous rex" just felt like a parody of the scene from jurassic park.

None of the ideas in jurassic world are new, even at particular to the series, they're just taken to the nth degree, except maybe, maaaayybe the idea of using controlled raptors for military purposes, and even that's only new in the context of the franchise itself.

Don't misunderstand me, if you enjoy jurassic world, that's fine, but it's hardly groundbreaking in terms of storytelling.

had apparently cheaped out when paying Dennis Nedry

There is just as much evidence to believe Nedry is also just retarded with his money/negotiating salary and greedy, and being "cheaped out" to him is not giving him infinity money and sucking his dick at all times. Considering how he reacts, I'd even lean well into that being more the case than Hammond simply cheaping out on one single guy and thing for no reason while being lavish on everything else.

Believing that Hammond fucked Nedry specifically to fuck him requires us to believe the obviously evil and selfish character's words over the naive, optimist who shows no amount of other evil.

had substituted frog DNA for missing parts of the dinosaur DNA

A substitute to fill in purely missing parts was a necessity to finish the genome, an understandable compromise due to simply having no other recourse. And Wu of course starting a trend of being hilariously incompetent and ignorant despite somehow being a world level master scientist to miss something like frog hermaphroditism.

This is a far cry from willfully mixing numerous dinosaurs and specific traits to create an entirely new animal, to the point of most people in charge of controlling it not fully knowing what its made of, simply for pure spectacle and asses in seats.

Hammond tried to recreate dinosaurs to the best of his team's ability, as our science knew them at the time, so pre-feathers. World tried to create a themepark freak show, with little actual care towards accuracy once it stopped selling tickets.

This isn't about me enjoying World (I think it relies too much on Park 1 nostalgia to its detriment, Trex was never that cool get over it nerds). Its two similar but separate ideas at work happening for different flaws of man.

Park might have done okay without direct sabotage but were clearly in over their heads. World was already doing fine, until they fucked it up for themselves.
