I know she's EXTREMELY naive thinking this would work but I realised before I was going to mock her, she might have a feasible solution.
We all know this is the jogger reaction to books so why don't we build libraries AROUND the stores and neighbourhoods to protect them?
perhaps put auto turrets on the libraries that shoot all of the people who try and vandalize it
You underestimate the power of books..
Remember when an entire mall was gutted and looted in South Africa? The only store there that was left in pristine condition was the book store lol.
yeah when there is other stuff to loot books get left alone, I dont have a link but this makes me think of that one guy who was fixing lights in a public park in a ghetto and a dude came up to him complaining that he was just going to get people arrested when they inevitably get vandalized again
