Nice. I can't say 由樹光里 is the original author either, but I just followed the instructions at the bottom and tineye claims this is the earliest post (8/22/2020): https://x.com/2015suzu12241/status/1297152696437235718
As an American I like Japans culture. They're responsible, respectful and mindful of their role and effects on society as a whole. I want them to feel comfortable being Japan and continuing to be Japan without outside pressure. That being said, they were off their rockers around the war. In addition to what Akira said, they were entirely unreasonable and had to be deal with by force or they'd just keep blundering along without considering peace at all. These days they're much more chill and America can get along with them without threat of force, they're even one of our few allies that pays for their own shit and tries to align with us so we really should have begun loosening our restrictions on them a LONG time ago, especially their military restrictions. Right now they're like an American colony and they're going to pay for it if we don't hurry up. I know Trump was talking about it last time he was president, I hope he does something soon.
Sadly? Yes.
Hardly any civilized nations have escaped the degradation of leftism or invasion. Most of the uncivilized ones were already not worth saving. They're rapidly digging their own graces too.
They worshiped an emperor and called that person a living God. I love Japan but their feudal ideology was total dogshit.
It's also why they were so easy to beat anywhere outside their home territory in WW2. They were arrogant, aristocratic, and believed in their chosen status. That really didn't work out for them.
I don't think Biak, Tarawa, Peleliu, Okinawa (which the Japanese did consider home soil) or a dozen other battles were "easy" at all. :/
Their culture and ideology were outdated and primitive, it's true. Their disdain for the lives & suffering of their soldiers and civilians didn't help them at all, really.
Here's the original version https://files.catbox.moe/c949kv.jpg i got it from a Jap tweet https://x.com/NabecyoR5/status/1752985493833482263

They should use western Europe as an example for what's going to happen in the final stage.
Now do Germany. That country will never recover.
Lets start tallying downvotes.

Fun fact: When Japan occupied Korea, they called it Chosen.
As in cho-se-n.
Always thought that was a funny linguistic coincidence.
That's one of the historical names the Koreans used
