It's not bad. Soderburgh was a pioneer of bringing MMA into action movies, and there were a few growing pains. She gives up her back too often but the teep kicks are cool.
There's a reason punches to the back of the head aren't allowed in organised fights. Causes brain damage.
The original Rollerball got it right when they showed what actually happens when you get punched in the back of the head:

Guy was permanently paralised and became a vegetable.
Yeah I'm aware what punches to the back of the head can do, but it's not auto paralyzation. There's a lot of chance involved. Punches to the back of the head happen accidentally from time to time in MMA.
Even so, that's still way more realistic than a woman holding her own against a man who's in a higher weight class.
There's a reason every single failed male athlete who troons out suddenly shoots to the top. Even without the weight difference, the strength difference between a man and a woman is tremendous. That fight you posted should have ended at the beginning, the first time he took her back.
Troon MMA fighters do way better than the average female pro, but they have been finished by female pros before. Movies are about exceptions, not norms.
the fight would've been over by 30sec if he has am "free hit against back of head" opener.
apart from that her punches seem to do as much damage as his punches - suggesting they punch with the same strength and have the same resilience.
only later she shows technique that might help her, but not at the start
This fight is garbage, totally unbelievable and takes you right out of the story

It literally stars with her being punched in the back of the head.
So? Lol

Still not half as realistic as untrained fat dude vs two female MMA pros.
Those are 2 Russian instagram models who trained MMA for that bout, not fighters

That's true. On reflection the clock to the back of the head wasn't the greatest choice
Either this is from a while ago or she lost a lot of weight recently. She was pretty heavy when she was on Mandalorian but she's in good shape here.
This is from 2011. She was still fighting then. Her weight class was 145 lbs, so she's probably around 150ish here.
She was probably heavier for the Mandalorian since she wasn't fighting
