China has committed to grinding the British Loyalists of Hong Kong into the dirt. Both by dilution (importing population) and by political oppression. It isn't a great place to be.

I was talking to a veterinarian from Hong Kong and she said that the Hong Kong locals had nothing in common from mainland imports. Locals speak Cantonese and English. Imports speak Mandarin.

She gave an example that a mainland Chinese family might be out with their toddler. They would think nothing of having the child drop their pants and shit on the street. If they managed to put down some newspaper first, they would think that they were being classy.

These tactics of genocide by dilution and replacement are tried and true. They are very effective.
