I agree. I wasn't insinuating otherwise, it's just that the people in power, who are known to abduct, traffic, rape, torture, and murder children, love to use "for the children" arguments.

As to your other point, it's one of the down stream negative effects of egalitarianism being so wholly swallowed by Western civ, and why the roots of the evil we're seeing today were sown in the Enlightenment. We somehow think everyone is the same and equal, that everyone is interchangeable, that tabula rasa is true, that race is a social construct, that all differences are due to "socio-economic" factors, so it's perfectly fine to mass import non-white foreigners, that we should do away with all hierarchies of importance (family first, friends/community second, nation/people third, everyone else a distant fourth), and in-group preference is so demonized (only among White people) that we should give all of our charity and aid to "the other" (i.e. non-whites), and treat them better than our own, because they're "oppressed", because why else would their IQ, wealth, crime rates, welfare use rates, and voting rates differ so wildly from ours? The totality of destruction that some ideologies hold can't be overstated, and it's absolutely maddening that the scope of destruction and abundance of evidence is so blazingly apparent, that even the thoroughly indoctrinated shouldn't be able to ignore it.
