He’s being autistic, but it kinda makes perfect sense. Frieren’s cold autistic condemnation of evil really does tap into a lot of our frustrations with this pathetic modern morality. We’ve allowed subversives to chip away at our evolved values to the point where large swathes of our media-brainwashed population now reflexively side with irredeemable evil. Why do we waste so much time and energy negotiating with the devil nowadays?
