No. America was a foreign country to them. They are in a camp in their home country.
They're all being sent to a holding camp in El Salvador first, not straight home.
Don't let them have even the smug pleasure of being technically right by validating that sending them anywhere is bad. "Good, we paid good money for them to hold our trash for us. They should be glad we were kind enough not to drop them in the ocean for free" gets a way more satisfying response from them.
