Even if Superman truly thought this, he would change his tune when he sees that most of the illegal aliens coming across the border are cartels, drug runners, human traffickers, junkies, murderers, and unskilled layabouts looking to take advantage of American social programs paid for by (often exorbitant) tax dollars taken from law-abiding citizens.
And even if Superman truly thought all these aliens were just poor migrant workers seeking a better life in America, that should raise the question of how terrible the places they come from have to be for them to be willing to trek thousands of miles just to reach it, and maybe he should do something about them.
Unfortunately, both situations violate the narrative that we're not supposed to question.
