Wasted potential to make yet another “I hate Trump” statement. The premise was solid and it devolved into focusing on a demagogue failed politician whose supporters wear red hats and are religious. Robert Pattinson kills it as his role but the entire thing gets fucked by ruffalo doing shitty Trump impressions and being forced into a story would be far more interesting without his character at all. 3/10

Why would you watch it? After simping for a child rapist shot dead while attacking a minor, the only thing I want to see Mark Ruffalo in is the obituaries.
Easy answer: I saw it for free, however I was hoping for what the promos promised, they sadly failed so badly on that delivery that it was only worth letting y’all know it’s a turd with 30 minutes of watchable sci-fi. If anything you’re welcome I wasted 2+ hours of my time drinking beer and watching that crapfest to let you know it’s a crapfest I saw for free.
The less i know about movie stars, the more i can enjoy the movies it seems.
That’s a shame, I thought about going to see that movie. Guess they don’t want evil fascists like me watching it.
It definitely had potential, the hamfisted ruffalo character was the worst part of the entire movie and was forced into half of the screen time. It’s no wonder they barely included him in the promos.
Fucking hell. The wife and I were looking forward to seeing this, as we assumed it was just a silly, dark sci-fi comedy. Why does EVERYTHING need to be so damned political these days? Can't entertainment just be... entertainment?
It’s either directed by or “brought to you by” the director of Parasite. Doomed from the start
Of course they will say everything has always been political and/or woke
Might I suggest Mars Express? It's an actual good sci-fi mystery film with some twists and turns you will not see coming.
If you want a baseline sci-fi comedy without the political preachers I would recommend companions, it has a gay robot couple but otherwise is a decent ride
Id thought the movie looked cool, but the trailers didn't show that part. Just Mickey got cloned 17 times. Makes since they'd find a way to put something like that in there
Nosferatu was good if you like gothic horror, and The Wild Robot was a nice family movie that can easily be interpreted as having a pro assimilation message. That's two out of how many?
Thanks. It looked like an interesting premise but good grief can people shut up about Trump.
Looks like a Snowpiercer type movie in terms of thematics.
Damn, I was kind of looking forward to seeing this movie. I mean, I’ll still watch the movie but I’m not paying to see it that’s for sure.
