Slippery slope isn't a fallacy, it just can be used as one.

If you have legitimate reason to believe A will lead to B to C, etc. then its still a slippery slope and completely rational to believe it will happen.

This was the time the Left believed that just saying the name of arguments meant they won, and its sad we let them get away with that.
