Elon corrected himself, admitted he didn't want the mass abuse currently going on, only to brain drain the top 1%. He said some inflammatory shit, but didn't come off as racist towards white americans, which is a more fundamentally intolerable position.

I don't recall Elon retracting his statement re: legal mass migration.

I do remember critics accusing him of using tweets against Kier Starmer and the grooming gangs in the UK to change the newscycle.
