Winner forms coalition with 3rd/4th place to ensure AFD is powerless.

So instead of...

CDU: 30%
AFD: 20%
SPD: 15%

We now have:

CDU/SPD: 45%
AFD: 20%

Same thing happened in the UK.

Reform: 5m votes = 5 MPs
Labor: 9m votes = 411 MP's

The European establishment has had centuries longer to perfect their election rigging systems than our establishment. The closest we have is the Democrat party with their Super Delegates making sure no outsider ever takes over the party.
