i can't quite agree with the "india is a crap country because of the caste system" take. Europe and Japan historically had castes as well but they were never backwards like India is. its more a people thing than a system thing
The system determines who reproduces with who and therefore creates the people. Vice versa is also true.
Tbf, I'd also argue fucking your cousin for many generations probably did not do the Indians well.
