A major creator of the TV grew up as a potato farmer. That's how boring it is. When you spontaneously decide to create an entire medium to deal with tedium, and then work the rest of your life for it to happen, then potato farming has got to create geniuses every few years.
Lota of our greats in sports grew up in the middle of nowhere. Kida with nothing to do just need encouragement to do something.
