She was briefly investigated by a homicide detective, but she let her off without charges a month or so later
Guess I just read about the investigation and then misremembered.
Well realistically the investigation should have lead to charges at least. But the propaganda state presumably put the pressure on to blame trump and the female detective folded easier than laundry/was happy to pervert justice support her team.
