The only reason they didn't do the same thing with ivermectin is because ivermectin is so safe you can't poison somebody with it unless you hooked them up to a horse paste pump and filled them up until their stomach ruptured.
You'd have to eat about 40 of the tubes of apple flavored paste you can get from farm supply stores to hit the LD50 and you'd be throwing up way before that point.

Yep, I read Ivermectin is REALLY hard to OD on. That's also what makes it effective against COVID.
