I just find it curious how the Leftists at Disney keep going back to the 50's/ 60s setting with rose-tinted glasses. Historically, they've mocked and decried this time in American culture as the "racist" heyday of White people and "peak oppression" of women.
... and yet they can't help but betray themselves to (indirectly) admit that times were better then and we should strive to go back.
