TL;DW - The Arch Linux Community on Discord started a vote to ban links to X/Twitter. But there's now calls and action to permanently ban Arch users who refuse to tow the communist line from the Discord server, the community and the distribution. Anyone who dissents on official channels are getting permanently banned and made persona non-grata. Going further than what the likes of Debian and NixOS have done in the name of DEI.
F.Y.I. SteamOS is based on Arch Linux.
OpenMandriva is very tempting right now on its politically agnostic, neutral stance. The problem is that many of the applications I use are in the Arch User Repository but not on FlatPak or in the OpenMandriva repositories.
Unofficial from what I can tell but those who head the distro need to distance themselves from this and confirm they are a politically agnostic, non-partisan distro. Those in the community are wanting purges of wrong thinkers, "Nazis" and dissenters beyond what anyone else has done. The danger being is that such pressure leads to rash decisions and then consequences.
Better yet, do what OpenMandriva did and call yourself explicitly anti-woke.
Heard nothing yet but you can't raise it on their official forum because they have a Code of Conduct that explicitly bans such political discussion!
This seems to me like some usual discord tranny shit. As long as they don't go about and disallow it on the forum I couldn't care less. I do see your point though and would love them to outright say they don't give a fuck and won't ban shit.

Debian is worse, considering this came from official channels.
Is this official and associated with the devs? Since Arch guys seems to be good kind of oldschool and use IRC and Forums :D

I'm concerned about infiltration and how many on that Discord have influence within the distribution.
