Okay, but you need to understand that literally every major city in the US and all US states court some amount of foreign investment. They've typically done this for hundreds of years.
If you don't like it, cool. And feel free to advocate a changing of the law and policy, but this shouldn't be a surprise to you, and nobody thinks it's treason IRL. And in a Steelman position of this, the foreign investment does have the potential to actually benefit the people of the state.
That's a problem that needs to be corrected then. Just because everyone is jumping off that bridge doesn't mean you get to peer pressure me into doing it. I'm gonna turn around and tell you that you're fucking retarded.
Like I said, that's fine, but don't act all crazy about it.
