The entire MSM is a gay op. They used to call it Operation Mockingbird, back when the CIA revealed the program's existence to Congress in the Church Committee hearings. And then nobody faced any consequences at all for the various illegal and unethical government programs that had been revealed and the Mockingbird Media swept it all under the rug by moving on to the next big story.
